It was 1989 when KAMEDA SEIKA first went overseas. The company invested in SESMARK FOODS, INC. In 2012, the major organic rice cracker manufacturer Mary’s Gone Crackers, Inc. was made a subsidiary, further solidifying KAMEDA SEIKA’s foothold in North America.

In Asia, Qingdao Kameda Foods Co., Ltd. was established in Qingdao, China in 2003 as a manufacturing site. It is currently strengthening sales to the Chinese market. KAMEDA SEIKA made Thailand’s SMTC Co., Ltd. (now known as THAI KAMEDA CO., LTD.) a subsidiary in 2009. The company has expanded cross-border business and sells products worldwide. KAMEDA SEIKA established a joint venture, THIEN HA KAMEDA, JSC., in partnership with Vietnam’s top rice company in 2013, and founded Daawat KAMEDA (India) Private Limited in 2017.
